Next week, on 6 April, I will be speaking at the Annual CIPD HRD Exhibition.
Let’s just get the Acronyms out of the way
If you don’t know them:
- CIPD: Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development
– the UK professional body for Human Resources (HR) officers
- HRD: Human Resource Development
– training, mentoring, coaching, organisational development,
talent management and the such like.
I will be speaking on:
How to Understand Resistance and Handle it Effectively
The session is at 10am on 6 April and is in the exhibition’s
Learning Arena. After the talk – which will last about 45 minutes,
I’ll be off to the Management Pocketbooks stand (No. 571) to
talk to anyone who wants to discuss The Handling Resistance Pocketbook.
The exhibition (at London’s Olympia) is free to enter, as are
Learning Arena events. If you are planning to attend the
exhibition, stop by and have a listen, or come to stand 571
and say “hello”..
Management Pocketbooks will be running a special exhibition offer of 1 off all pocketbooks and,
if you buy five, you can get a sixth one free thats six pocketbooks for 34.95. Both of mine will be there:
To mark the occasion, I have dabbled with creating my very first video blog. It would be great if you could
check it out and leave your comments. It is on the Handling Resistance website.
